# Shop together, no ads

Beta in November

One of you types “milk”, everyone sees it right away. Sorted by store and by your way through the aisles.

## What Hummlist does for you

Three things that make the weekly shop quieter.

### Quick to add, quick to tick off

The input field is ready right away, down by your thumb. Suggestions come from what you have bought before. One tap ticks an item off, and a slip of the finger is undone just as fast.

Silent video: someone types “Honey” and “Jam” into the Hummlist app’s input field, and both land under Pantry. Then one tap each ticks them off again.

### The whole household, live on one list

What one of you adds, everyone else sees on their phone right away. What someone ticks off in the store disappears for all of you. It works offline too: Hummlist catches up as soon as you are back online.

You invite flatmates, partners and kids with a link or a code.

Silent video: three phones of the Brandt family. Mia puts eggs on the list; less than a second later they are on Noah’s and Ida’s phones, with the note “1 new from Mia Brandt”. Noah ticks them off, and they disappear for everyone.

### Sorted the way you walk through the store

Every item lands in its category by itself, from fruit & vegetables to toiletries. Add your stores, from the supermarket to the farmers’ market, each with its own route. Hummlist remembers where you usually buy what.

Add your own stores and change the order of the categories.

Tap a store:

1. Fruit & veg
2. Bread & bakery
3. Chilled
4. Meat & fish
5. Pantry
6. Sweets & snacks
7. Drinks
8. Frozen
9. Household
10. Drugstore

## Just say it. Hummlist is listening.

Hands full of bags or dough on your fingers? Just speak, and it's on the list.

### In the app

In the iPhone and Android app, tap the microphone in the input field and say what you need. Hummlist listens right on your phone, in German, and sorts each item into its category.

Silent video: Mia taps the microphone in the Hummlist app’s input field and says, in German, “Pizza, Orangensaft und zwei Packungen Fischstäbchen” (pizza, orange juice and two packs of fish fingers). The words appear in the field as she speaks. She taps stop, and right after, Orangensaft is under Drinks and Pizza and 2 Packungen Fischstäbchen under Frozen. In the store she ticks all three off.

### With AI assistants

Connect an AI assistant that supports MCP to your list through the Hummlist MCP server. Then write or tell it what's missing, and it puts it on the list.

Silent video: an AI chat gets “Put honey and jam on the list”. Hummlist reports both under Pantry, and they appear in the app. By voice follows “Bought both, tick them off”, and both disappear again.

### With Siri

With a [shortcut](https://hummlist.com/en/guides/siri-shortcut), Siri puts it on the list.

## From Peter

I wanted an app I can share with my wife and that AI can manage. So I'm building Hummlist: we both use the same list, and via MCP, AI assistants can add items, check them off and read the list. In the beta you test Hummlist with us and tell us what's still missing. — Peter
